THE FORMAT
Holes 1–6: Foursomes (Alternate Shot)
Holes 7–12: Four-Ball (Best Ball)
Holes 13–18: Singles Match Play
THE MATH, BECAUSE SOMEONE HAS TO BE THE ADULT
5 Foursomes + 5 Four-Ball + 10 Singles = 20 available points. A win earns 1 point, a tie earns 0.5, and a loss earns 0. First team to 10.5 wins the Cup. Everyone else goes home with a bruised ego and several highly selective memories.
