This isn't your grandfather’s stroke play. We don't care if you shoot a 38 or a 55. This is an 8-man "All-In" Brawl where you only compete against your own ability. The goal? Finish with the highest score above your starting target and walk away with the $25 top prize.
We bake the handicap right into your starting number so you don't have to do math on the course.
The Formula: Take the "Perfect 9" (18 points) and subtract your 9-hole Handicap.
Player Level (GHIN) 9-Hole Handicap Your Target (Quota) The Vibe
"The Sandbagger" (36) 18 0 Points Every bogey is a victory lap.
"Weekend Warrior" (18) 9 9 Points Average a bogey, sprinkle in a par.
"Deesh" (12 GHIN) 6 12 Points 6 Pars and 3 Bogeys = Target hit.
"The r/Golf Pro" (9) 5 13 Points You're hunting for Gross Birdies.
Forget "Net" scores. (watching some of you do math is painful)
Write your actual points directly on the card. If you hit a Double Bogey, your work is done. Pick up and move to the next tee.
🚀 Eagle: 8 Points
🐥 Birdie: 4 Points
⛳ Par: 2 Points
👍 Bogey: 1 Point
🛑 Double Bogey+: 0 Points (STOP SWINGING!)
Designed for maximum fun and a sub-2-hour round. Follow them or lose your $5.
You get one club length, no closer to the hole, anywhere on the course.
THE CAVEAT: You CANNOT improve your lie. If you're in the deep rough, stay in the rough.. No moving from the sand to the grass!
We aren't here to watch you lip-out a 2-footer.
The Rule: If the ball is inside the length of a standard putter grip (from the hole to the bottom of the wrap), it’s a gimme. Pick it up and take your points.
We aren't walking back to the tee. Every woods, pond, or OB line is a Lateral Hazard.
The Move: 1-stroke penalty, find where it went out, drop within two club lengths, and keep the line moving.
Once you’ve hit 9 shots, you're done. Since a Double Bogey is 0 points anyway, there's no reason to hold up the group. Pocket the ball and move on.
At the 19th hole, we calculate: (Your Points) - (Your Target) = Final Score.
🥇 1st Place: $25 (Highest Plus Number)
🥈 2nd Place: $10
🥉 3rd Place: $5 (You get your entry fee back!)
