We’ve spent the whole summer rotating through Wolf, Shuffles, and Monsters. For the Champions Cup Finale, we aren't locking in the format until we see how the standings look. We want the finish to be as close—and as interesting—as humanly possible.
As we approach October, the final format will be decided by:
The People’s Choice: A group vote to see which game you actually want to play to settle the score.
The Commissioner’s Decree: If the standings are too close to call, the Commissioner (Deesh) will hand-pick a format designed to test every nerve in your body.
The Leading Candidates for the Finale:
The 4-Man Aggregate: Every. Single. Stroke. Counts. No safety nets.
The "Eliminator" Shuffle: A variation of the 4-3-2 that gets even tighter on the back nine.
Match Play Showdown: High-stakes head-to-head battles based on season seeding.
Regardless of the format we choose, the Viniterra Factor remains. This is a big, championship-level course that rewards "The Silent Grinders" and punishes "The Math-Challenged Dreamers."
The Weight of the Cup: By October, the "Net Score" magic will be at its peak. Every putt you grind out for a Net Bogey could be the difference between hoisting the Champions Cup or being the guy who buys the first round of whiskey in 2027.
The Spreadsheet Legacy: The "Digital God of Golf" will be watching every hole. There are no mulligans in October. There are no "gimmes" outside of leather length.
