The BSG Champions Cup isn't just won on the big stages of the Majors. Itās built in the "Off-Weeks"āthe steady grind where you post your individual scores, manage your handicap, and slowly climb the leaderboard.Ā Ā
Announce your intention to post a score BEFORE, that is BEFORE you play the round in the group chat, that is Whatsapp.Ā Then submit a picture of your scorecard, make sure it is legible, make sure I can read it.Ā
We know you have jobs, families, and lives outside of the bunkers. Thatās why the regular season is designed for Maximum Convenience. * The Witness Rule: You don't need a full BSG foursome to post a score. You just need at least one witness to verify that your "Net Birdie" wasn't actually a "Mulligan-aided Par."
The Format Exceptions: The only time a full BSG group is mandatory is for specialized team games like Amigos or Sixes. Otherwise, grab a buddy, hit the links, and play your game.
Individual Stakes: These weeks are all about Your Individual Net Score. You are playing against the fieldās posted numbers for that week, regardless of where or when they tee off.
Since the Commissioner isn't on every tee box, we rely on the BSG Code of Honor (and the fact that weāll eventually see you play in a Major).
Just the Gross, Please: To our "Math-Challenged" brothersāplease do not attempt to perform complex subtraction in the parking lot. Just write down your Gross Score for every hole. The Spreadsheet God will apply your handicap and handle the "Net Magic" once you submit.
The "Silent Partner" Validation: Even if you're a "Silent Guy," you have to make sure your playing partner (BSG member or not) sees your card. Transparency is the only way we keep the Champions Cup prestigious.
The Sunday Deadline: All scores must be submitted by Sunday at 8:00 PM. If your score isnāt in the system by then, youāre looking at a "DNP" (Did Not Play). The spreadsheet waits for no man.
The Regular Season is where you find your rhythm and stack up the points that will determine your seeding for the October Finale at Viniterra. * The Consistency Factor: A few solid Net Pars in July could be the difference between starting the Finale in the lead or chasing from the back of the pack.
The Handicap Watch: Every score you post keeps your handicap "honest" for the next Major.
Pick your day, find a witness, and post your numbers. The road to the Cup runs through the regular season
